SUMMARY:Annual Weekend Retreat
DESCRIPTION:It’s time to mark your calendars for the upcoming Annual Weekend Retreat in Ocean City\, for the Md. Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors. The dates this year are; Friday evening Oct. 14th – Sunday morning Oct. 16th. We are staying at the Grand Hotel on 2100 N Baltimore Ave.\, Ocean City\, MD. \nWe will begin the registration on Friday evening at 6pm and a light fare\, this is not intended to be your evening meal. We will end with wrap up on Sunday morning after breakfast. \nAs always you room and meals will be provided by the Md. Chapter of C.O.P.S.\, if you attend all of our planned activities. If you choose not to participate with all of the groups activities\, then you will be responsible for your hotel stay. \nWe are again holding a Silent Auction\, we hope that you will support this auction by bringing something for the Auction table. Teresa Welsch will be available on Friday evening to accept and place the items on the tables. \nOne more thing that we have done in the past is to ask you to bring a toy for the toy collection done by Shelly Webster through Md. State Police. As we approach the holiday season we all recognize that there are children that sometimes have no gifts on Christmas morning. As the Christmas Party Committee begins to wrap gifts for our Christmas Party\, there is sometimes an exchange of gifts from both of these collection efforts in order to best give the children a gift more suiting to them. \nPlease understand as in the past\, we are only asking for your support for the Silent Auction and the Toy Collection. They have never been a requirement for attendance. \nPlease go to the online registration form on our website\, and complete the form and submit. Then\, Call the Grand Hotel: 410-289-6191 and register under the Md. COPS block of rooms. You will be asked to give your credit card to hold your room\, it will not be charged. If you register for a room and something comes up\, you must cancel your room no later than Oct. 11th or you will be charged for the first night. \nPlease Note: The last day to register for a room and to register online will be September 10\, 2016. we will not honor any late registrations.
